Leeds United made it back to back victories on Tuesday evening as we took a narrow 1-0 victory over Reading at Elland Road to return to second spot in the Championship table.

Often criticised Stuart Dallas gave us the victory with his goal on the hour mark and despite controlling the game in our usual fashion with chances and possession, the Achille’s Heel remains chances on target and a clinical nature.

We even needed goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell to save a late penalty to secure the clean sheet but that will do his confidence the world of good after recent criticisms as well.

Given our control of the game it was no surprise to see Whoscored rate our squad well, and although Kalvin Phillips took the star man award immediately post-game with a rating of 8.34, BPF pushed him close with 8.27.

The top five on the day were taken by goalscorer Dallas, Liam Cooper and Adam Forshaw but we also had Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe given a 7+ score for their efforts so whilst we continue to search for improvements, there are things we should be content with.
