Leeds United face a gruelling campaign ahead of them in the battle to secure a return to the Premier League, with 2019 marking 15 years since the Peacocks suffered relegation in 2004.

Marcelo Bielsa has led the side valiantly this season but consistency has been an issue, with Leeds slipping to third in the standings after a defeat to West Brom prior to the international break and facing plenty of competition in the promotion charge.

Further signings are expected when the transfer window reopens in January and some reports have suggested that experienced Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente could be on his way to Elland Road.

The 33-year-old has a history with Marcelo Bielsa after working under the Argentine boss during the pair’s time with LaLiga side Athletic Bilbao, where the Basque outfit excelled domestically and in Europe.

However, he has struggled for form since moving to North London and an exit could be on the cards. We have gathered some reactions to the links from Leeds fans.
