Leeds United returned to winning ways against Bristol City at Elland Road on Saturday but Marcelo Bielsa’s squad has been ravaged by injuries.
A major setback was sustained during the international break as Chelsea loanee Jamal Blackman saw his stint in Yorkshire ended prematurely after suffering a leg break, while Bailey Peacock-Farrell also missed the game against the Robins.
That has left Leeds short of options between the sticks and it is likely the Peacocks will be active in January to bolster their ranks in this position – and Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham is reportedly a target for the promotion-chasing side.
The 27-year-old has featured just once in the league for Steven Gerrard’s side this season and appears to be surplus to requirements, which opens the door for Bielsa to make a swoop for the experienced stopper in the New Year.
Reacting to the news on social media, it seems Rangers fans are supportive of a potential exit for Foderingham and we have gathered some of their reactions below.

Let him go bring Liam Kelly back. Win win.

U want Foderingham for a promotion push, really?

They can have him. As long as we’re getting 1.5 Mil at least.

Good move. £1.5m at least though.

Would sell him. McCrorie is a more than able back up.

Alnwick back from his loan is a decent back up, with McCrorie as long term option. Would take £2m for Fod.

Difficult to stand in the way of a reserve goalkeeper. If he’s keen to leave and the money’s right, good luck to him and thanks
