Leeds United are plotting an “ambitious” move for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard if they are promoted, according to reports.
The 22-year-old has been in scintillating form for Neil Lennon’s side before the season was brought to a premature close, having scored 27 goals and provided 19 assists in 45 appearances for the Scottish champions.
Patrick Bamford has been on the end of some intense scrutiny during segments of this seasons having faltered in front of goal, and with Jean-Kevin Augustin’s deal hitting the proverbial iceberg, they could be looking for striking reinforcements.
The Mirror revealed that Marcelo Bielsa has made it his top priority to buy a new frontman and has recognised Edouard as high up on his list of targets.
