Plenty of Leeds United fans have been heaping praise on defender Liam Cooper following his side’s 3-1 victory against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
The Whites continued their marched together towards their long-term goal of reaching the Premier League for the first time since 2004, as they maintained their one-point advantage at the top of the Championship to West Bromwich Albion.
Goals from Patrick Bamford, a stunning free-kick from Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich secured the crucial three points. However, there was one moment during the encounter that caught the Elland Road faithful’s eyes.
Who was your MOTM vs Blackburn?

Cooper managed to pull off a majestic cross-field pass to Jack Harrison, which eventually led to the third and final goal of the afternoon for the visitors, which was captured on Twitter (via @JamesLUFC) by a fan.
Unsurprisingly, supporters drooled over Cooper’s pass and made their feelings clear about it on social media. One fan described him as “Pablo in disguise”, while others described it as “lovely” and “world-class”.
Sick of this ‘League 1 Liam’ nonsense, he’s one of the best CBs in the division yet it’s always Bartley/Jansson/White who get the credit
