Leeds United have long been linked with having an interest in Queens Park Rangers’ impressive midfielder Luke Freeman.
Speculation about the 27-year-old surfaced during the last January window really and it seemed to gain a bit of traction back then as opposed to just being a typical media claim on the rumour mill and his name has resurfaced on a few occasions since then.
Earlier this month his name was back in some reports, and at the time it was suggested we would also make it a double raid on Loftus Road and look to bring young talent Ebere Eze to Elland Road as well.
Over the weekend it was claimed that newly promoted Premier League side Sheffield United had made their move and had offered up £4million to get the ball rolling.
If, and that’s a big if, Freeman is available at that kind of price Victor Orta should be straight on the phone.
