After some poor recent form and results for Leeds United, last Saturday saw us return to winning ways and begin restoring our wriggle room at the top of the Championship table as we took victory over Rotherham United.

Heading to the New York Stadium for the game, manager Marcelo Bielsa’s side did fall behind just ahead of the half-hour mark as the hosts got themselves on the scoresheet, but a Mats Klich brace in the second 45 gave us the win and all three points.

Statistics website Whoscored.com obviously gave 28-year-old Klich their star man award with a score of 8.86 for his own individual efforts on the day.

Completing the top five best performers from the 90 were Jack Harrison (8.17), Pablo Hernandez (7.55), Luke Ayling (7.23) and Liam Cooper (7.14).

With Spygate complaints rumbling on, whether that actually hit our form in recent games is open to debate, but we now have a three point advantage on second placed Norwich City and we will be hoping to grow that gap to provide cover when hiccups in results come again.
