Leeds United extended their gap at the top of the Championship table with victory over Rotherham United at the weekend.

Having headed to the New York Stadium for the tie on Saturday, manager Marcelo Bielsa saw his side fight back from behind in the game with Mats Klich helping himself to a second half brace as we secured all three points and reopened a three point gap over Norwich City in second spot.

With plenty of positives and praise coming from the 90 minutes for fans as we got back to winning ways after our recent wobble, Rotherham manager Paul Warne had an interesting take on their opening goal from Semi Ajayi who gave them the advantage 28 minutes in and in referencing the Spygate furore he seems to have won himself a few fans from Elland Road as they took to social media following the match to react to his post-game comment.

  • Kind words – we’ve never seen Semi do anything like that before but hope he can keep doing it! We are a family club and I’d like to wholeheartedly say that we will stay up but …..
