I think most Leeds United fans were expecting summer transfer rumour mill speculation about a few players, and certainly Jack Clarke given the way he’s impressed many this year.
With 25 appearances in his breakthrough year for manager Marcelo Bielsa, plenty of fans were hoping to see more of him from the start of matches and had he not seen the second half of his year interrupted with his illness that led to his collapse in the Middlesbrough match, he could well have notched up a few more starts.
With plenty of speculation about his future back in the January, once another year in the Championship was confirmed, it was only going to be a matter of time before some Premier League sides came circling, and earlier this week Tottenham Hotspur became the latest to be credited with an interest.
Spurs Reportedly Open The Bidding On Prodigious Young Leeds Talent
With the claim being that Spurs had tabled a £10million offer, Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay took to social media to clarify that claim.
No formal offer for Jack Clarke yet but all the signs suggest that one is coming from Tottenham:https://t.co/HjXIHKd7CX

If that offer does ultimately come, a number of fans reacting seemed to agree that we should just hold out for the best price.
There’s no way we’ll get that for a player that’s had half a dozen decent games. 8-10 topps plus add ons.

Would let go for the right price.

Hopefully if we do sell him (which I'd rather we didn't) it would be a good bit more than the reported £10m, given that Swansea are getting £15m for James who only has a year left on his contract

Stand firm on this one

Offer him and his a family a mortgage free home in North London. How can a young lad turn down that? Ensure his family are financially secure for the rest of their lives.

Shhhhhhh

My prediction IF he goes – he'll sit in their reserves and get the occasional Cup run-out against lower league teams. He'll fail to impress, be shipped out on loan and not be heard of again.
This isn't a criticism of Jack, it's just how these things tend to go— Dan (@DanP_LUFC) May 23, 2019
He hasn't looked the same since what happened against Boro. I'd take 20mil & a loan back.
