Goalkeeper Takes Leeds MotM & That Probably Says Everything

|

Leeds United’s trip to the Trillion Trophy Stadium on Saturday to face Birmingham City didn’t exactly go to plan as the hosts took a narrow victory on the day over Leeds United.

With Norwich failing to slip up, we did with a 1-0 defeat and it’s very much a case of battling for second spot now with Sheffield United rather than looking higher, but it’s difficult to be too disappointed given our injury concerns over the season as plenty would’ve been more than happy enough with where we are in the table at the beginning of the year.

Statistics website Whoscored reflected the performance in their player ratings really – the hosts did more with the ball despite having less of it.

Goalkeeper Kiko Casilla took their Man of the Match with a rating of 7.48, and Kalvin Phillips took second spot with 7.09.

Completing the top five were Luke Ayling (6.76), Ezgjan Alioski (6.71) and Pontus Jansson (6.65).

Dust ourselves down and go again as automatic promotion hopes are still more than alive.
