It looked like it may be another of those days for Leeds United as we made the trip to the New York Stadium to face off against Rotherham United earlier today.
Having fallen behind shortly before the half-hour mark in the game, manager Marcelo Bielsa’s side showed the fighting spirit that saw us battle back in previous games, and Mats Klich stole the show with a second-half brace to ensure the return of all three points.
Victory was again deserved as we dominated possession and created far more opportunity than the hosts, but the concern for fans will be in the fact we only tested their goalkeeper four time – with that said, Klich’s winner four minutes from the end of normal time was warmly greeted.
With a bad run recently, it was also the perfect way to bounce back and we maintain our place at the top of the Championship table, with a three point gap over Norwich City in second spot.
