Silly season is well and truly in full swing. When rumours are swirling around and there are so many you just don’t know which to believe and which ones to instantly dismiss. Whilst some of the bizarre rumours do sometimes come true, like Neymar being signed by Paris Saint-Germain for £200m, the majority of them stay in the public eye for about a week and then get replaced by something more realistic.
However, when Leeds United are being linked with Gianlugi Buffon, Dimitri Payet and Francesco Totti, you know that you’ve gone too far. Although when you stop to think about it, after Edgar Davids turned up at Barnet, are they really all that farfetched in the grand scheme of things? Yes, of course they are, don’t be silly.
So some Leeds fans decided to have a little bit of fun with these transfer rumours, creating an entire one to eleven of what their team would look like if the current set of rumours carried on the way they have been going recently.
