Plenty of Leeds United fans have been hailing midfielder Pablo Hernandez for the impact he has made on Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
ALLDAY LEEDS posted his views on the Spaniard on Twitter, claiming that he will go down as one of the best players to ever wear the famous white shirt.
The Elland Road faithful warmed to him almost immediately after his individual presence and influence was recognised, following his free transfer to the club in January 2017.
Is Pablo Hernandez in the same category of player as Gordon Strachan?
Yes
No
Per TransferMarkt, the 35-year-old has gone on to score 34 goals and provide 37 assists in 154 appearances.
With this in mind, supporters showered Hernandez with praise and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he deserves to be in the same sentence as Gordon Strachan and Billy Bremner, who are highly-regarded figures at Elland Road, while another described him as a “catalyst of improvement”.
Like Strachan, Bremner and Collins before him, the one that makes it all work
