Returning to the top of the Championship pile on Sunday as Leeds United took victory over Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium left the vast majority of fans incredibly happy as we head into a new week.

Goals from Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe gave us the 2-1 win and given the overall display from the side on the day plenty of players came in for praise post-game.

Having scored our leveller three minutes after the hosts had taken the lead, Hernandez seems to be going from strength to strength this season under manager Marcelo Bielsa and for his critics, well, the 33-year-old is proving the wrong with consistently good showings.

With injury interrupting his season, he does have four goals in nine games and he’s been involved in far more when it comes to his team play and having clearly missed him when he was on the sidelines, fans are right to offer the praise as he gets back to his best given his bright start to the campaign.
