There’s stating the obvious, and then there’s what Marcelo Bielsa said during his press conference yesterday.
Can you get anything higher than obvious? I don’t think you can. But with Leeds getting ready to take on Reading tonight, that was exactly what he stated. Speaking in his press conference yesterday, Bielsa mentioned how he would like the team to “develop their attacking play and efficiency so they don’t need so many chances to score.”
After weeks of complaining that something needed to be done to make Leeds more potent going forward given the number of chances they create, it looks like he’s going to do something about it, although given that he’s been going on about this for some time now himself, you wonder why he hasn’t done something about it already. Indeed the latest table from Experimental361 shows that Leeds should be running away with the league if they’d just managed to put the ball in the back of the net when they were given the chance.
Although just how the change is going to happen, these Leeds fans hadn’t quite worked out. Was it going to come through the transfer market, or would he be making a change to his style of play?
He has been going on about this since he started here. If he knew how to fix it then he would have surely?

Well bring in Dwight Gayle then!

Nothing new then ????

In his defence most of them are crosses into good areas but there’s never anybody there

Maybe play the best crosser of the ball in the whole league who’s been sat on the bench all season!!

It’s the same every match. How many times this season have teams scored against us with their one and only chance whilst we go and create lots of chances and waste 90% of them. We should be out of sight already this season. Saturday was another example. It’s like groundhog day.

This isn’t a new thing. Why is it sounding like this has just been identified? Too predictable. Not enough attacks from other players.. Seems to always to have to go to wings.

Where will we end the Championship season?
Title winners
Automatic promotion
Play-Off winners
Not going up
Either way, I can’t wait to find out what the results of this are going to be.
