Leeds United are still very much interested in Club Bruges forward Charles De Ketelaere according to The Athletic on Twitter.

The Whites are in the market for more attacking options after struggling in front of goal last season, when injuries in key places plagued the squad. They are certainly keen to not repeat the same mistakes this time around.

Charles De Ketelaere looks a perfect fit for Jesse Marsch and Leeds.  He can play anywhere across a front three.  His hold up play is exceptional and he knows where the back of the net is.  He is a serious threat in the air and on set pieces.  The 21 year old is seen as a secondary striker or a false nine.

He has appeared 90 times for Club Bruges, scoring 19 goals.  He also has Champions League experience and has featured 8 times for the Belgium National team, scoring once.

Last season was his best return, when he racked up 18 goals and 10 assists in 49 appearances, with the club winning the Belgian title.  He would be a real signal of intent for Leeds and the Premier League if he were to sign for the Yorkshire club, but they face competition for his signature with newly crowned Champions AC Milan, who can also provide Champions League football.

De Ketelaere is highly rated around Europe and would be a fantastic addition to the Leeds squad, and he would slot straight into the first team to compete with Patrick Bamford and Joe Gelhardt.  It is rumoured The Whites are preparing a bid, and hope that a fee of around £26m would be enough to lure him to Elland Road.

Would fans be excited to see Charles De Ketelaere in the line up next season?
