Today is not a good day at all, is it?
It’s one of those days where at work, or at home, things are not being concentrated on because, simply, we feel pretty dull and numb about it all.
It’s amazing what football can do, of course, and we’ve had some great highs this season but, right now, we need to try and pick up ourselves for what seems likely to be a play-off challenge now.
We’ve taken a step closer to not going up again, though, and that could well be a problem with Noel Whelan’s prediction in mind.
He told Football Insider that he could see Marcelo Bielsa and even Andrea Radrizzani leaving the club if we are not promoted – and you can see that becoming a potential reality.
Certainly, the play-offs look set to be the toughest in years – just look at Aston Villa for example – and seeing the pair leave could well happen if Whelan is right and we don’t make it up.
