Leeds look on the brink of signing Jamal Blackman on loan this summer with him set to become our second arrival of the window.

Things have really dragged on during this off-season with a lack of arrivals player-wise and we’ve begun to wonder what exactly the likes of Radrizzani and Kinnear are doing right now.

Even so, this seems to suggest that there is life still in the boardroom and Phil Hay’s update seems to suggest that Blackman will sign in the very near future:

A player with quality, he’ll sign on loan from Chelsea – much like our first and only signing this summer to date: Lewis Baker.

The Verdict

I like Blackman, I think he’s a solid keeper and he should do well.

BPF will have a challenge to try and keep himself in the side and that’s what we want, players pushing one another to improve.

Now, hopefully, we’ll kick-on in the coming weeks before the season begins.
