The international break has arrived and the Whites will be looking to get some good work done in the coming days in order to finish this campaign on a high.

United have had a good season but the loss to Sheffield United has been a little bit of a setback and so we need to bounce back quickly.

How we do that, though, remains to be seen with Pontus Jansson looking set to miss the next couple of games for us.

However, there seems a good chance that we will be okay without him as Phil Hay has revealed via the Yorkshire Evening Post that Gaetano Berardi is ready to step back in.

Berardi had an excellent start to the season at centre-half before struggling with injury and coming out of the side.

He is back fit now, though, and this is another positive to come from Jansson’s injury.

It’s not as bad as first feared and we’ve now got a player who was in good form ready to fit back in, there is no reason to panic.
