The international break is here and for many of us it is a time to twiddle our thumbs and wish time away.
The Whites not in action is never a great period but, it has to be said, it might have come at an okay time for us.
Certainly, we’ve got a chance to regroup after what happened at the weekend and recharge whilst Pontus Jansson has that extra bit of time to recover without missing games.
It’ll be interesting, meanwhile, to see which of our players on international duty do well in the coming days, and that can be said of Stuart McKinstry too.
Still a Motherwell player, it seems as though he is on his way to Leeds as all the signs suggest that we have a deal in place for him.
The Scottish Sun suggested it last month and now the unofficial Leeds United Academy account on Twitter has reached out to affirm that belief as they congratulated him on an international call-up:
