It’s just like the good old days isn’t it?
Having your heart ripped out at the last minute when it looks like we’re about to seal a great transfer, getting the fans all excited in the process and then find out that the whole thing isn’t going to happen after all.
Well that’s what’s happened with Leeds United once again last night as it was revealed that the deal for Michael Cuisance has fallen through at the last minute. Reports seem to claim that it all comes down to a failed medical as Leeds discovered an issue with his foot during the latter stages of the deal and decided that it wasn’t worth the risk.
And that means that there is now set to be a mad dash to get another player in before the end of the window, but as journalist Graham Smyth explains, if the club isn’t successful, then there is a backup plan in place to get through until the next window:
That's all the club will confirm. Victor Orta's lists will come out again. Time yet to add players but we already know Bielsa's stance if they don't: "We will adapt."

Will we spend more than £100m this window?
Yes
No
Oh well, I think it’s fair to say we’ve still managed to have a pretty successful window so far without him, and who knows things could get better in the next couple of days.
What about you? Are you annoyed that this deal didn’t go through?
