With football authorities across Europe continuing to tie themselves in knots when it comes to how the 2019/20 campaign should come to an end, or when it can be restarted following the Coronavirus outbreak – Leeds United fans have got one thing to smile about this week, as Luke Ayling has won Quest’s EFL ‘Goal of the Season So Far’ competition.

Back at the beginning of March, just prior to the suspension of games, Leeds welcomed Huddersfield Town to Elland Road for some derby fun and manager Marcelo Bielsa saw his side take another victory following goals from Luke Ayling and Patrick Bamford to secure all three points in a 2-0 win.
The game marked five wins on the spin, with five clean sheets and it also returned us to the top of the Championship table with a one point advantage over West Bromwich Albion. Ayling’s effort was particularly delightful given the buildup and manner of the finish and he unsurprisingly won their vote with a 75% majority.
Is Ayling's Strike The Best So Far?
Yes

Fans were understandably pleased when confirmation of his win came through.
