Leeds United have battled to some fine performances in recent weeks, defeating Reading in midweek and following that result with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Sheffield United on Saturday.
Pablo Hernandez scored the only goal of the game to kickstart December in style, continuing his fine performances from November where he scored three Championship goals – against Bristol City, West Brom and Wigan.
The 33-year-old has now scored in four of Leeds’ last five matches, while his overall record in 2018-19 stands at an impressive seven goals and five assists from 13 appearances – just one behind Kemar Roofe in the scoring charts and equal with Matheusz Klich for assists.
Hernandez’s form has not gone unnoticed and he was selected as one of six nominees for the PFA Player of the Month award for November alongside Nottingham Forest’s Joe Lolley, Aston Villa duo Tammy Abraham and Alan Hutton as well as Norwich City pair Teemu Pukki and Emiliano Buendia.
Some Leeds fans gave their reaction to the nominees on social media and we have gathered some of their comments below.
