In midweek Leeds United took to the Nethermoor Park pitch as we continued our pre-season buildup against non-league Guiseley.

Manager Marcelo Bielsa sent a very young squad to compete in this fixture as he shares around match minutes and saved some of the more senior boys for Sunday’s next fixture against Las Palmas.

Despite the average age of the group though, there were a number of positives that could be taken from the game and some players certainly took their opportunity to impress with both hands and that was well received amongst the fanbase.

Taking a 4-3 victory on the day with the likes of Ronaldo Vieira being joined on the pitch by new Chelsea loan signings Jamal Blackman and Lewis Baker, Baker actually took to Twitter following the match to praise the travelling fans for their support across the 90 minutes.

The 23-year-old also managed to find the back of the net once more following the Oxford match and his words on social media went over well.

There was some light-hearted debate on whether Guiseley classes as an away fixture though!
