17-year-old Academy prospect Jack Clarke’s stock continues to rise for Leeds United in the 2018/19 pre-season buildup.

With manager Marcelo Bielsa continuing his preparations for the coming Championship campaign and new permanent faces being thin on the ground, our pre-season games so far have certainly seen a more youthful element to them and that was certainly true for the midweek clash against Guiseley.

Clarke has more than caught the eye of Leeds fans in recent weeks and he’s again done himself no harm as he got amongst the goals at Nethermoor Park in our 4-3 victory and joined Ryan Edmondson (brace) and Mateusz Klich on the scoresheet.

Clarke is proving to be quite a goal threat as he also found the back of the net for us in the previous clash with Oxford United.

Taking to social media to pass his own comment on the match, Clarke continued to gain praise for his efforts.

There was one man who was less than impressed with his message, but that was quickly sorted.
