Leeds have excelled under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa this season and opened a four-point advantage over their promotion rivals in the Championship after beating Derby County on Friday evening.
Further additions are being pursued in January to help the club’s push for promotion, as they seek to return to the top-flight for the first time since suffering relegation in 2004, and links have emerged with Swansea City talent Daniel James.
The 21-year-old has impressed with Graham Potter’s side this season, contributing three assists in 16 Championship appearances, and he would provide a boost to the club’s options in the attacking third – particularly after losing Samuel Saiz earlier in the window.
Yorkshire-born James, who earned his senior international debut for Wales last year, would be an exciting recruit for Bielsa’s side and would improve the depth available to the Argentine boss at Elland Road – although Swansea will be determined not to lose the youngster’s services.
Some fans took to Twitter to react to the reports and we have gathered some of their comments below.
Not a silly question at all. All I can say is judging by Swansea fans reactions they defo don’t want him being sold especially for just £2.5m rumoured price. All I know is what has been already said that he is a fast winger

Don’t know much about Daniel James but it’s reassuring Bielsa/Orta have seen we really need more pace in the side #lufc

Rumours of Daniel James potentially on the radar. From Beverley, represents Wales, young winger that has a lot of potential. Should he sign, Moose will be gutted! Another British player managed by a foreign coach! #LUFC
