Leeds United boss Simon Grayson was reasonably happy after the clubs latest pre season game at Shelbourne.

Grayson speaking on the official website said “It was a very good work out and lively from the off. Some of the play, passing and the movement, and some of the chances were excellent. There was some incisive passing and movement and were looking to build it up”.

Leeds once again though let a two goal lead slip, Jermaine Beckford had shot Leeds into a two goal lead in the first half but within eleven minutes of the re start Shelbourne were level.

The Whites once again made a large number of changes at half time to give everyone a run out.

Grayson is however aware that the defensive frailties that caused a problem for Leeds for much of last season continue to resurface and says that there will be a lot of work done on this area to eradicate the problem.
