According to the Daily Star, whilst Leeds are going to do everything they can to try and keep Jack Clarke at the club past this season, it is going to be very tough.
Perhaps we knew that already, but this report – where they identify a number of players who could be off in the summer – adds some credence and substance to the concern.
Clarke has been excellent this season for the Whites, and looks capable of playing at the top table – something we want to see him achieve with us.
However, even if we make it to the top-flight for next season, the report is suggesting that the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Spurs could prove too good to turn down and that he’ll leave.
We’re surely going to do our hardest to make sure he remains at the club for next season but it is going to be one tough task it seems.
