Marcelo Bielsa’s table-toppers face a trip to the Welsh capital to face Cardiff City, but what sort of team will the Argentine select? Here’s our prediction…

Leeds predicted XI vs Cardiff City

We’ll start with who will definitely be absent – Kiko Casilla, Bielsa’s usual number one, continues to serve an eight-game suspension whilst fellow regular Pablo Hernandez will miss this one through injury.

There’s also unlikely to be a place for Jean-Kevin Augustin if reports over his hamstring problems are indeed accurate.

It means Illan Meslier continues between the sticks and in front of him could be a back four which surprisingly includes Gjanni Alioski at left-back over Stuart Dallas.

With the Spanish playmaker out, it would make more sense for the Irishman to play in his more natural central midfield position with Alioski coming into fill the gap over Barry Douglas.

Huddersfield Town's Karlan Grant reacts vs Leeds United

Who scored Leeds United's second vs Huddersfield Town on March 7?

Kalvin Phillips should, of course, herald the backline as Bielsa’s vital lynchpin with Mateusz Klich partnering the Irishman slightly ahead of him.

There’s no room for Tyler Roberts, so Jack Harrison and Helder Costa take the wide positions.

Patrick Bamford continues to lead the line.

What do you think? Who will start and will we come out on top?
