Leeds United’s first game since being crowned the 2019/20 Championship winners was somewhat marred by Marcelo Bielsa’s team selection against Derby County on Sunday afternoon.

Not because the Argentine surprisingly named seven changes, but because Kiko Casilla returned to the starting XI following his eight-game suspension for racially abusing a fellow professional.

And much of the Elland Road faithful back in Yorkshire were left fuming with by the decision and his subsequent performance.

The 33-year-old was blasted for being a “total liability” whilst one supporter lauded his ban as an “absolute blessing,” which only goes to show what people think of him these days.

United came out on top with a 3-1 victory at Pride Park but clearly Casilla’s involvement has put a stain over it all going by the reaction on social media.

Per SofaScore, the divisive Spaniard picked up the lowest rating of any Leeds player with a measly 6.3. His distribution was all over the shop having only mustered up a 71% passing success rate, too.

Here’s the rest of the reaction…
