“You’re scaring me”, “No no no”, “Oh god” – Lots of Leeds fans react as Phil Hay relays key news

Plenty of Leeds United fans have flocked to a recent tweet from Phil Hay after the ever-reliable journalist relayed the Championship’s playoff dates.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side are, of course, sat top of the table with a seven-point cushion to the dreaded playoff positions and with only nine games left to play, the situation is firmly in their hands.

However, last season it was too, and we witnessed a spectacular late-season collapse as we finished third behind Norwich City and Sheffield United.

Now, we’re not saying the same will happen, but it’s handy to have those dates free to hand, right?

Those in Hay’s mentions certainly don’t agree with some supporters getting a little anxious as action on the pitch nears a return.

The Whites head to Wales to face Cardiff City tomorrow after a long three-month period without any action in the second tier.

Leeds are surely battling West Brom for the title, but you never know, the worst could come.
