Speaking to El Dia – via Leeds Live – Leeds target Juan Foyth has spoken about his happiness at Tottenham, suggesting a move away might not interest him.

As soon as Marcelo Bielsa arrived at the club we began getting linked with some exciting names and promising defender Foyth was one of those.

Picked up by Spurs, he could potentially become a very good centre-half and Bielsa’s links with Mauricio Pochettino is what caused such a story to come about.

Whilst there’s no inclination he definitely wouldn’t come, though, it appears as if he’s more than happy to stick around at Spurs.

He said:

“The truth is that I’m very happy and comfortable to be playing in England and, particularly, with Tottenham.”

The Verdict

It’s perhaps not a surprise he’s willing to stay put at a club like that but if Poch wants him playing more football we might be the club for him.

Certainly, we’ve got the Argentine theme at our club now and I’d imagine if Foyth does move we’ll be there or thereabouts.
