As quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post, Angus Kinnear suggested that the Whites could have something to celebrate come the end of this coming season.
Certainly, ambition seems to be the buzzword at the club at the moment and it’s evident that promotion is the aim by the end of the season.
And, in reflecting on the fixtures that were released yesterday, Kinnear has underlined that with his comments about having something to celebrate by the time we face Aston Villa the second time in 18/19:
“I look towards the end of the season as well and hope there might be something special when we play Aston Villa at home on the penultimate game.”
The Verdict
It seems as though plenty of those working at the club this season coming are aiming to go up and many have made noises about this year being the year.
Talk is easy, though, we need to see action this summer and then into the season so I’m not even thinking about May right now.
