Leeds United made the trip to Ashton Gate to face Bristol City in today’s Championship clash.
Having got back to winning ways in some fashion against West Bromwich Albion, manager Marcelo Bielsa was looking for his first team squad to get back to successive victories as we continue to hunt down promotion back to the Premier League in the season of 2018/19.
Patrick Bamford gave us the advantage nine minutes into the tie and we did better dominate the game, but it was another one where clear cut chances on target were at a premium. By the hour mark, the hosts hadn’t tested Kiko Casilla once, so it was another of those games.
We kept the clean sheet to take a 1-0 victory by the fulltime whistle and it was nothing more than the overall performance deserved.
The biggest concern will be the early substitution of Bamford after he suffered a knock in the first half.
