The weekend was far from ideal for the Whites but there is no need to panic just yet as there are still plenty of games to be played in the Championship.
The loss to Sheffield United was not good, but we did play well and if we could just finish we would have won the game.
No need to worry just yet, then, and some transfer news this morning may well be of a positive nature to us.
Earlier on this month, AS reported that Marcelo Bielsa wants to reunite with powerful holding midfielder Ander Iturraspe – who worked with him at Athletic Bilbao.
It seems as though there is a good chance for the Whites to get it done, too, with OK Diario suggesting that the player will not sign a new contract with the Basque side, and his current deal ends this summer.
A potential green light for the Whites, then, and we must strike given both the need for us to sign a holding player and the fact that Bielsa already knows him.
Certainly, he’d add some steel to a midfield that could perhaps do with some more physicality.
