Leeds Leave Jack Smiling As We Take Charge Of The Title – Match Stats

|

With two wins on the spin, the Championship title was in Leeds United’s hands and having seen West Bromwich Albion slip up in their last game, we had the chance against Swansea City to really extend our lead at the top of the table on Sunday afternoon.

A pretty balanced and level first half played itself out at the Liberty Stadium and manager Marcelo Bielsa rang quick changes at the half time break.

That definitely worked for us as we took a greater control of the game but it looked like it would be another of those days were the goal just wouldn’t come.

A minute before we stepped into stoppage time we made our control count though, and the ever reliable Pablo Hernandez slotted home to return all three points and a nice three point lead at the top of the table.

Jack’ll be smiling.
