According to the Telegraph, Leeds United are closing in on the £11 million signing of Derby County forward Matej Vydra.
This is a deal that should get the rest of the Championship to sit up and take note.
The forward is one of the best in the league and has proven that on more than one occasion.
Certainly, he’s the kind of player that helps sides get promoted and if we can bring him in I am confident that we’re going to be there or thereabouts this season.
The idea of him being fed by Lewis Baker and Samuel Saiz is an exciting one.
The Verdict
This would be a real statement and it is looking close.
He’s a player I really like, sharp on the ball and in the box with the ability to do what others can’t.
It looks like we’re really starting to kick on this summer now.
