Leeds United fans have been crying out on social media for Marcelo Bielsa to utilise Izzy Brown in his Whites side, as the 22-year-old forward is nearing a full return to fitness.

The on-loan Chelsea talent has been destroyed through injuries for much of the season, and sat out months on end with the tail end of a cruciate ligament rupture, only to suffer a hamstring injury straight afterwards.

For the first time this term, however, Brown featured in a matchday squad against Middlesbrough, albeit as an unused sub, but it showed the former England youth international is close to staking a spot in the starting XI.

Although that start did not come on Wednesday night against Swansea as again Bielsa opted against starting the crocked star and instead maintained the same XI that featured at the Riverside, bar Pablo Hernandez coming in for Jack Clarke.

Fans, though, are keen to see more of Brown, providing he does not show signs of being made of “glass” as one supporter put it when fan account LeedsMe shared a highlight reel of what the 22-year-old can offer…
