Daniel James finally took to the field at Elland Road following the endless January speculation, but it was for Swansea rather than Leeds, and these United fans have been sharing their thoughts on the winger’s performance.
Had it not been for the Welsh outfit suddenly pulling the plug on a deal at the eleventh hour, James would likely have been lacing his boots while wearing a white jersey on Wednesday night rather than the black and orange he wore instead.
The 21-year-old would also not have ended up on the losing side, and rather be a part of the team sitting at the top of the Championship table.
He did, however, enjoy a good game for the Swans, contributing with one key pass, four successful dribbles and 28 touches, with only Bersant Celina recording a higher total of dribbles for the visitors.
Away from the stats, this is what the Elland Road faithful thought of his performance…
Did Daniel James play for Swansea last night?
Asking for a friend……#Lufc #Mot #TopOfTheLeague

Based on last night I can see what James would bring to #lufc but I didn’t see £10m worth.
