There’s a reason Leeds United fans love centre-half Pontus Jansson and following the weekend’s victory over Bristol City our colossal Swede has just given us another reason to admire his approach to social media as he reacted to Lee Johnson’s attempt to mimic Kevin Keegan’s impassioned rant against Manchester United whilst manager of Newcastle United all those years ago.
With Public Relations teams handing out instructions on how players should comport themselves in public, especially in light of the Football Association rules surrounding ‘bringing the game into disrespect’, Jansson has better things to do than bother himself with such things.
What Lee Johnson had to say about the possibility of playing Leeds United in the play-offs. Like Kevin Keegan, he'd love it (or so he said):https://t.co/tSwSyl8RmP

If he’s not irritating people with his honest after match comments, he’s delighting and entertaining people with his online antics, and Bristol City manager Lee Johnson quickly became a target given his own post-game words at the weekend.
Having secured a 1-0 victory at Ashton Gate, Johnson attempted to emulate Keegan and claimed he would ‘love’ it if they got us in the Play-Offs after the game that saw us do the double over them this year.
Brave words given we are chasing down top spot and they are faltering to maintain sixth place.
Jansson reacted in a slightly different way to Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay’s Tweet but it was spot on.
Same guy who said Ayling isn’t good enough for Championship ????????????
