Last weekend saw Leeds United keep the pressure on Norwich City in top spot in the Championship as we took victory over fellow Championship promotion hopefuls Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

The game was a tight encounter in our now normal fashion of dominating the greater possession and chances at goal, but we did only manage to get three on target. It proved to be enough though as Patrick Bamford grabbed his second goal in as many games in the ninth minute to give us a 1-0 win as we took another clean sheet.

Statistics website Whoscored were positive in their player ratings, but right back Luke Ayling stole the show for them, taking their star man award with a score of 8.15.

Completing the top five best performers in their eyes on the day were Kalvin Phillips (7.52), Pontus Jansson (7.49), Liam Cooper (7.32) and Bamford (7.27).

Jack Harrison also received a score of 7.14 so all eyes to the next one now.
