Just have to sit and wait this one out.

And just because he doesn’t leave today, doesn’t mean that his entire future is coming to a grinding halt. That was the update that Phil Hay gave out when talking about the future of young Robbie Gotts.

Very much on the outside when it comes to game time at Elland Road, with the moves we have made this summer, competition for places was always going to be a little harder for the 20-year-old, so it makes sense for him to make a move away from the club for a season.

There are number of clubs interested in him, but Hay believes that he’s more than likely going to make a move during the additional ‘domestic’ window rather than today:

Would you like to see more of Robbie Gotts?

No!

Either way, I don’t think that of the clubs listed, there’s a ‘bad option’ when it comes to places that he could be playing, just so long as he is getting game time that can allow him to develop and become an option for us in the future.

What about you? Do you agree with the decision to loan Gotts out this window? Or would you rather he played with the U23 side?
