With some Leeds United fans hoping that the deal for Derby County striker Matej Vydra would spark back into life now that transfer deadline day is almost in view and Derby themselves have begun knocking him down the pecking order with captures of their own, a tweet earlier today by journalist and Leeds fan James Marshment sent fans into a flutter once again.

The mention of Vydra and a complication with his medical was the bit that most latched onto on social media.
With long-standing links to Vydra, talk of an £11million agreement between both clubs but talks stalled over his wage demands, some fans wondered why the 26-year-old would be undergoing a medical if talks on personal terms had not progressed. Others thought it was the latest ramblings of the summers rumour mill but plenty got quite excited.
