Leeds were in action again last night as we edged Guiseley in a thrilling friendly.
Pre-season results can’t be read into too much, of course, but it’s safe to say a lot of our games have been close run things – often against ‘lesser’ opposition.
With that in mind, though, it’s all about fitness at this stage and, thankfully, Tyler Roberts’ early substitution was not down to another injury.
Lee Sobot has confirmed that, actually, he is fine and will be ready to face Las Palmas at the weekend:
Tyler Roberts is fine and was only subbed after 38 minutes of last night's friendly with Guiseley with a view to Sunday's final friendly against Las Palmas which will be the really interesting one. No injury. Shin fine. #lufc

The Verdict
This is good news.
Roberts has finally started playing and so to see him get injured again will be a big blow.
He’s fine, though, and will be looking to impress against Las Palmas as we edge ever closer to the new season.
As things stand, I think we could see a fair bit of him this season coming in the first team.
