Leeds United’s journey in the FA Cup this season was a brief one, as the Peacocks fell at the first hurdle after losing 2-1 to fellow Championship side QPR in the third round.
The defeat will not be too much of a concern for Marcelo Bielsa and his side given the fact that the priority is earning promotion to the Premier League but there was still plenty for fans to discuss in the aftermath of the loss.
One of those things was the debut handed to 18-year-old Bulgarian striker Kun Temenuzhkov, who joined the Peacocks from Barcelona’s B side in 2017 and had not yet been named in the matchday squad prior to Saturday’s game.
The 18-year-old teenager was given a chance in the final 11 minutes at Loftus Road after replacing Tom Pearce and, while it was not enough time for him to make a real impact, many fans on social media were delighted to see the youngster feature.
We have gathered some of their comments below.
Excited to see how Eddie Gray pronounces that.
