Leeds United have shown solid form under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa this season, sitting top of the Championship after 26 games.
However, considerable improvements need to be shown after the Peacocks suffered three consecutive defeats across all competitions – missing the chance to open a comfortable advantage over their promotion rivals.
The January window provides an opportunity for some of their problems to be solved and one priority is securing a new goalkeeper, as the broken leg sustained by loanee Jamal Blackman saw the Chelsea man return to his club prematurely.
That left only Bailey Peacock-Farrell as a senior option within the squad and Bielsa is keen to improve his depth, which has led to reports that a move for Southampton’s Fraser Forster could be tabled.
Forster, capped six times by England, has fallen down the pecking order this season and could seek a move in order to secure first-team football – and many Leeds fans have shared their thoughts on a potential move for the 30-year-old.
We have gathered some of their comments below.
I know it’s a long shot but wouldn’t Forster be an ideal option? I realise he has massive wages but he is proven… #lufc

Forster must be on around 40k a week . A lot of clubs will be interested in him . Would be a great acquisition for us but we would only offer him 20k max . #LUFC

We've got to at least ask Southampton the question, surely? What a signing Forster would be and some player for BPF to learn from. #LUFC
