Loads of Leeds United fans have been reacting on social media after Marcelo Bielsa stated that he will name an unchanged XI when Reading arrive at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
The Whites face the Royals this weekend unbeaten in four games against the Berkshire outfit, including a run of three consecutive wins as Bielsa continues to boast a 100 per cent record over the Madejski Stadium natives.
United are yet to even concede a goal against Reading since Bielsa took charge in 2018, with the Argentine lauding two 1-0 wins and a 3-0 triumph so far.
Bielsa also boasts a full haul of points against Bristol City (four wins in four), Bolton Wanderers (three wins in three) and Rotherham United (two in two) of clubs faced and beaten on more than one occasions with Leeds.
In his bid to add four in four against Reading to his record, Bielsa has confirmed he will name the same side which beat Bristol City 1-0 last time out, when a 16th-minute Luke Ayling strike was enough to seal the result.
“It will be the same squad as last weekโs match against Bristol City,โ said Bielsa, via quotes by the club’s official website.
Should Bielsa change the XI vs Reading?
Yes
No
“Reading are a team with very good players especially in the midfield. They have a creative style of play and they also have power in attack.
“I realise the wishes and desire from the people of Leeds, in our job we only focus on winning the next match.”
Should Bielsa stick to his words 100 per cent, this will mean there is no place in the matchday squad once again for January arrival Ian Poveda, who has missed out on a place in our last three Championship teamsheets and continues to wait for his United debut.
