Many Leeds United fans have been reacting on social media, after LUFC Data shared an image mapping out all of the 464 chances to score Marcelo Bielsa’s side have created in the Championship so far this season.

The Whites have carved out more goalscoring opportunities for teammates than any other side in the second-tier during 2019/20, with United’s total number of key passes 46 more than Brentford (418) and 59 more than title-rivals West Bromwich Albion (405).

Of our 464 key balls, as recorded by WhoScored, 383 have been considered short passes, while 81 – another division-high – have been from long passes, beating last season’s total of 80 as we created a total league-high 613 key balls.

Who has missed more big chances to score after 37 league games?

Manchester City loanee Jack Harrison, whom we have an £8million option to buy in the summer, has been credited with the most key passes by a Leeds player in the Championship this season, with the 23-year-old marked as having made 76 over his 37 league outings.

Mateusz Klich (69), Pablo Hernandez (65), Kalvin Phillips (60) and Ezgjan Alioski (35) round out our top-five most creative players, whilst our imminent £15m permanent signing Helder Costa has been credited with 34 key balls on route to his two assists.

Here are some of the messages shared as fans reacted to LUFC Data’s image showing each of our 464 key balls, having mapped out the end product of Bielsa’s genius…

In other Leeds United news, the club have been dealt a setback in hopes of signing Victor Orta’s €20m target.
