“The future”, “Priority #1” – These Leeds fans name PL talents they’re keen for Orta to sign

|

Plenty of Leeds United fans have been naming which Premier League talents they would be keen to see Director of Football Victor Orta sign in the summer transfer window.

The club are already obliged to spend some money in the summer market having taken Helder Costa on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers in a deal that includes a £15million clause, which is irrespective of securing promotion.

Our deal with RB Leipzig for Jean-Kevin Augustin also features a €21m (£19.1m) clause that would see the Frenchman remain in England should we obtain top-flight football, although the striker is able to walk away in the summer should he prefer.

Marcelo Bielsa could see the likes of Jack Harrison and Illan Meslier return to Elland Road beyond the current campaign, too, as the club have an £8m option to buy the Manchester City winger and a £5m option for the FC Lorient goalkeeper.

Loan sensation Ben White is only in West Yorkshire until the close of the 2019/20 term, though, and while plenty would like to see the Brighton & Hove Albion defender stay for longer, the club would have to agree on a fee for the Poole-born ace the Seagulls reportedly value at £25m.

There are a plethora of other players currently in the Premier League that fans would like to see brought to Elland Road when the next transfer window opens, while many would be keen to shop in the Championship if it means signing options that would improve those already in West Yorkshire.

Here are some of the names that supporters have put forward on social media…

In other Leeds United news, a prominent pundit has urged Bielsa to overlook a £3.6m-rated man should the 2019/20 season resume.
