Having come so close to promotion last season, Marcelo Bielsa looks set to keep as much of that promotion-chasing side as he can, to act as the ‘core’ of the team and build for yet another promotion push this season.
His first signing, in fact, could come from one of last season’s squad, As Jack Harrison looks set to complete the move that will see him go on loan to Leeds twice in as many seasons.
However this time, there’s an added bonus that should get Leeds fans excited. Reputable journalist Phil Hay reported that this loan deal will also come with an option to buy at the end of the season. Earlier this summer, The Sun reported that Manchester City valued Harrison at £20m, but whether or not the fee will remain the same come the end of the season, we can only wait and see.
After his very impressive loan spell last season, in which he scored four goals and also chipped in with three assists, it’s no wonder that some Leeds fans are glad at the prospect of seeing him back in a white shirt next season, although that sentiment isn’t shared amongst all members of the Elland Road faithful.
Happy about this, honestly think Harrison will make great progress this season. Some unfair criticism of him last season, showed some real quality at times and if his consistency improves, we will have a right player on our hands

Good! A lot don’t, but I really rate Harrison. Has a lot of potential.

Finished the season strongly. Another pre-seadon with Bielsa and a season in the EFL will see him blossom further. Double figures for goals and assists this season ????????

He played quite well towards end of season, glad to have him back

It’s an odd one, the lad was decent but not consistent. We need better to get promoted

Sorry but he just doesn’t do enough imo, goals/assist ratio in a Leeds shirt is poor for an attacking player, ayling created more from RB.

Glad it’s an option and not an obligation.

I would like to exercise that option now and say no
